Cape Coast Castle
On Saturday morning we visit the famous Cape Coast Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in existence today. Millions of slaves passed through its walls en route to the Caribbean and the Americas, and it was the seat of British colonial administration until 1877.

After lunch, you will get a tour around the town by a local tour guide. He will tell you about the local community, it’s history and you visit interesting places.
At night we you get served a nice barbecue in the middle of the tropical rainforest, where you get the chance to stand eye-in-eye with a monkeys. Our host Dennis, better known as ‘the Monkey-man’, loves to tell you all about his monkeys and the other exotic animals.
Kakum National park
On Sunday you learn a lot about tropical plants and animals during the nature tour at Kakum National Park. You get to do the Canalopy walk, at up to 40 meters height you can see the plants and animals in the rainforest, which would otherwise be inaccessible for people.
