FAFA Foundation

Floor & Anniek For Africa Foundation (FAFA) is a Dutch non-profit organization established on the 1st of September 2015 and has its council in Deventer, The Netherlands. The foundation is registered under number KvK64026477 at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and has a ANBI-certification mark. FAFA aims to support local economies and encourage underprivileged communities to build together on a better future perspective, through the creation and implementation of development projects in developing countries in Africa.

History and current projects

FAFA started because its founders, Anniek van Keulen, Yella Vernooij and Floor Hamburg, wanted to help construct a shelter and a school for the children of Dream Africa’s former children’s home. This home has been closed down recently, therefore FAFA has decided to continue the project with another completion: the ‘Baobab Community’.

FAFA Foundation is currently active in Ghana, and works on:
- School project in Teshie Fishing Village, Accra
- Baobab Community in Abokobi, Accra
- Support a Child Program, Accra

Mission and Purpose FAFA
